Sakuti Tomiyuki
Sakuta Tomiyuki was born in Japan in 1960, but now lives in Holland for one year. He usually makes etchings and prints; sometimes he also uses egg yellow with colored ink to paint with. The piece of art he created for this symposium is made of a dirty and a little bit broken piece of wood. He drew and scratched faces in it. It is an old traditional style, with a white and lighter base on the background and the black and darker drawings on the front, it is the style he likes the most. There is no message behind this piece of art, but it does reflect his feelings at the moment of realization.
