A little story all around Joyce Bloem working, a paparazzo trying to get the secret of a life in some hours, in some days... That was my work on the breast cancer... Joyce was going on working in her fabulous and magic world telling me all what she was doing, the reasons, the secrets, the philosophy and the jokes, I was looking to her beauty, to her breast moving, to the funny short hair on her round head and I was so glad that not only the head but everything was funny and good to laugh and make jokes. Strange days, full of words of disease, operations and medicines but you could see only happy faces enjoying in the sunshine relaxed full of energy to work with projects always new. I made a second work to show something to the friends asking me: And you, where 'is your work? It's a breast in the fingers of two hands. The idea was not mine but I tried to make it so light and happy that everybody could see how life is wonderful always. Live put the title: DON'T MISS THE POINT... In my pictures I always put a symbol of mine, it means 'Person' as I see it, and this symbol ends with a point outside. In this picture the point is the nipple... Funny? Yes, I can see you smiling... That's the point! : )
