Marisa Polin has worked in this summer in Mexico to complete her new series "(Not) guilty".

The theme includes aspects such as the war on drugs, the drugs' cartels and petty crime. The series mainly alludes, however, to the way crime is depicted in the yellow press. It is about criminals being found guilty before having been tried; and crimes being photographed as in a set theatre.
A light is added by the typical nicknames of infamous criminals.

Through her paintings and drawings Marisa Polin tries to go to the origin of these crimes and portray those related, guilty or not.
